Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrades are immediate. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
Does free include all features?
Yes. Every plan includes the full feature set — unlimited Shapers, versioning, migrations, and shape sharing. You pay for projects and usage, not access.
Can I try without a card?
Yes. Forge is free forever and does not require a credit card.
What happens if I exceed my limits?
Forge has a hard cap — you'll need to upgrade to continue. Build and Scale have usage-based overages so your apps keep running.
What counts as an AI Shape request?
Each time a Shaper presses the Shape button and gets a response, that's one request. Browsing or viewing the app doesn't count.
What happens to my projects on downgrade?
Your projects and shapes stay intact. If you exceed the project limit, you'll need to archive projects or upgrade before creating new ones.
Can I charge my users for access?
Yes. On Build and above, connect your Stripe account and set per-skill pricing. Your users subscribe directly. Platform fee scales with your plan: 1% on Build, 0.5% on Scale, 0.25% on Custom. ShapeKit handles checkout, billing, and access control.
How does AI usage billing work?
Each plan includes a monthly pool of AI Shape requests. On Forge, it's a hard cap. On Build and Scale, your apps keep running past the limit and you pay per extra request. You control overages from the dashboard.
Can Shapers set their own budget caps?
Yes. Crafters set a default overage cap per app. Each Shaper can lower their own cap from their settings. Once the cap is hit, AI responses pause until the next billing cycle.
What happens when a Shaper hits the AI limit on the free plan?
The Shape button stops responding until the next month. Their data and saved shapes stay intact. They can still browse and use the app normally, without AI-powered reshaping.
